PS5 is an announced platform
New Blood's game page explicitly names PlayStation 5. The June release announcement reported by Gematsu and September press-release coverage also include PS5, providing a consistent announcement trail. That supports the platform confirmation without relying on an unofficial compatibility list.
The official concept listing is a direct route to the PlayStation product information collected for this guide. A concept page and an available local purchase offer are not automatically the same thing. Read the platform, region and current purchasing controls on the listing you actually use.
Understand the storefront date discrepancy
The publisher announcement gives October 16, while the dated release reporting provides the 2026 year. The PlayStation concept page retained a date-to-be-determined message in the supplied research. This discrepancy is recorded rather than silently treating the store as if it had already confirmed the same dated purchase offer.
An announced calendar day also does not specify the exact hour a regional download unlocks. The collected research does not verify a global unlock timetable for PS5. The release date guide keeps announced launch information separate from regional availability and physical delivery estimates.
Choose digital information or a physical edition
A PS5 physical release is separately listed by Lost in Cult. Its Retail+ and limited EDITION tiers should be considered as physical products with their own contents, stock and shipping terms. They are not a promise that a disc will arrive on the announced digital launch day.
The PS5 physical guide explains the documented edition types and shipping estimate. The limited edition guide lists the verified collector contents and platform print caps. For the announced US digital price, use the price guide rather than substituting a physical seller's GBP listing.
