Tenebris Somnia Switch 2: Editions and Cartridge

Yes, Tenebris Somnia has a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 release in the publisher's platform list and Lost in Cult's physical range. The physical publisher says the complete game is on cartridge, rather than supplied as a Game-Key Card. That product is distinct from the original Switch software's compatibility on Switch 2.

Dedicated Switch 2 product evidence

New Blood explicitly names Nintendo Switch 2 on the game page. Lost in Cult identifies a Switch 2 physical product, and the collected June reporting describes the same edition context. These sources establish more than the ability to run an older Switch application on new hardware.

The distinction matters when reading a store result labelled simply Switch. Nintendo's original Switch listing also reports compatibility on Switch 2, but that entry refers to the original software. Read the full platform name and product description before assuming that two listings sell the same edition.

Complete game on cartridge

The physical seller's statement identifies the Switch 2 release as a complete-game cartridge rather than a Game-Key Card. This is a format claim about that physical product. It is not a tested statement about performance, graphical differences or every future update.

The limited EDITION has a stated Switch 2 run of 1,500 copies in the collected product information. That cap describes the collector tier and should not be used as a current-stock counter or a quantity claim for every physical version. See the limited edition guide for the documented package contents and other platform caps.

Do not infer an upgrade or performance entitlement

The research does not establish an upgrade fee, a free upgrade or cross-buy access between the two Switch products. It also provides no verified resolution or frame-rate comparison between them. Those omissions mean a purchase comparison can describe the products, but cannot honestly rank their measured performance.

For the older console and its supported modes, use the original Switch guide. For announced digital pricing, use the price guide and then check the actual region and platform at checkout. Physical shipping estimates are a separate issue from the digital release date.
